Adelaide Strikers have won the toss and have opted to bat

Sydney Sixers X-factor Subs: Todd Murphy, Jack Edwards

Adelaide Strikers X-factor Subs: Henry Hunt, Wes Agar

Teams:

Sydney Sixers (Playing XI): Josh Philippe(w), James Vince, Moises Henriques(c), Daniel Hughes, Jordan Silk, Daniel Christian, Sean Abbott, Hayden Kerr, Chris Jordan, Ben Dwarshuis, Lloyd Pope

Average score in Big Bash history from 43 games here is 159.95 batting 1st

BJ speaking sense for once, no batting depth there and Abbott is their best bowler probably and he goes and does that.

Sixers need 148 off 20 overs

Change of innings odds: Sixers 1.22 v 4.90 Adelaide

If Adelaide defend this it will be the 3rd time a score of 147 or less has been defended at the SCG in a BBL game.

Brisbane Heat won the toss and elected to bat 1st against the Sydney Sixers tonight at SCG

Sydney Sixers X-factor subs: Todd Murphy, Mickey Edwards

Brisbane Heat X-factor subs: Jack Wildermuth, Nathan McSweeney

Teams:

Brisbane Heat (Playing XI): Chris Lynn, Max Bryant, Tom Cooper, Ben Duckett, Sam Heazlett, Jimmy Peirson(w/c), James Bazley, Xavier Bartlett, Mark Steketee, Matthew Kuhnemann, Mujeeb Ur Rahman

Runs line for Brisbane Heat:

Under 165.5 Runs 1.87 v 1.90 Over 165.5 Runs

Brisbane fans would be filthy with that dismissal from Jimmy Peirson

BOOOM

If you could fill your team with 11 Sean Abbott’s , you’d go close to winning the title. [image]

Sean Abbott doing a Scott Boland. Everything he is touching is turning into gold today.

the gap between brisbanes good and bad is too big for me.

The better sides gap between their bad and good is a lot more narrower.

Giraffe goes , 4 down for the Sixers

The Renegades have all sorts of issues surrounding the ‘young talent’ on the list and the lack of balance/support with proven talent in the squad due to this, but someone has to answer for the poor international signings in

  1. Where is Unmukt Chand? How can an international signing have not played a game in the worst batting line up in the BBL? If he’s no good, then someone’s got to answer for ever adding him to the squad in the first place

  2. Mohammad Nabi has the 11th best bowling economy in BBL11 at 6.8 and for some reason has bowled only 10 overs in 6 games what is going on?

  3. Reece Topley. What is the obsession with English medium bowlers? Waste of an international spot

  4. Zahir Khan. Has been a win. Particularly with no Boyce available

Sydney Thunder have won the toss and have opted to field
