Multiple Parent IDs in events request

Not sure whether anyone else has seen this issue - probably my very basic Python programming skills. I can call a list of events either by parent id (one league) or by omitting the parent Id (all leagues). What I would like to do is select a few parent ids but when I do this I only get one returned. Am sure there is a simple way of passing duplicate (multiple parent ids) in python? My python code looks like this:
url = ‘https://api.smarkets.com/v3/events/
params = {“inplay_enabled”: “false”,
“state”: “upcoming”,
“type”: “football_match”,
“parent_id”: “29398187”,
“sort”: “id”,
“limit”: ‘500’}
response = requests.get(url, headers=headers, params=params)
data = response.json()
dfp1 = pd.DataFrame.from_records(data[“events”])

If I add an extra parent id in as the documentation page suggests, I only get one league returned. Any ideas?
Thanks

John

Hey John,

It would be an issue with your code as you can indeed get a list of events using multiple parent_ids in your request.

Here is an example of a request URL that works:

https://api.smarkets.com/v3/events/?state=new&state=upcoming&state=live&parent_id=742967&parent_id=742968&sort=id&limit=20
