New Events Customer Survey Response

With the coronavirus bringing a halt to most sporting events, at Smarkets we’re aware that recently we have not had our usual wide variety of markets to bet and trade on.

With that in mind, we asked our users what new things they would like to see made available - whether that be new sports, additional markets on existing sports, or more offerings across politics, current affairs, and TV & entertainment.

The response we had was phenomenal, and we’d like to thank each customer who took the time to provide feedback.

Taking your suggestions into account, we’ve worked hard to expand our market offering, so in the next few weeks you’ll see more sports like greyhounds and international horse racing, alongside our first addition of e-sports. There will also be further trading opportunities added to our range of existing sports.

Our markets on global politics and current affairs have been expanded too, covering all the high-profile campaigns such as the US presidential election later this year. Finally, in light of the coronavirus outbreak, we’ve even enabled you to trade on whether certain events will go ahead as planned - be they sporting or political.

We always want your feedback on how we can improve, so please feel free to comment below on what more we can offer on Smarkets to improve your experience.

Hi, I’ve noticed that AUS greyhound markets are covered now and my question is that will you be covering the UK greyhound racing as well once the lockdown restrictions are lifted .

Hi. We are currently looking into adding the UK greyhound racing but we can’t promise anything though.

Thanks for the quick update.

Is greyhound racing already available? I am also interested in trying but I can not find details about it.

I think no… with all of this crisis and canceled events.
